Returns Policy

At Scent Story, we offer worldwide free delivery. However, the cost of returning a fragrance is the responsibility of the customer.

Return Conditions

  • You may return your product within 14 working days if you are unhappy with your purchase or wish to exchange it.

  • Fragrances can only be returned if the packaging is unopened (i.e., the 80ml fragrance box must remain sealed).

    • To help you decide, you will find a 2.5ml sample of the fragrance you ordered included in your package.
      We encourage you to try the sample before opening the full-size fragrance box.

  • Discovery Sets and Hair Mists are non-returnable under any circumstances.

  • Products must be returned in perfect condition, in their original packaging, with all accessories and instructions, and duly sealed.

Important Notes on Returns

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the fragrance is returned using a shipper certified to carry dangerous goods (due to the alcohol content in fragrances).

  • The customer bears all risks and costs associated with the return until the product is received by us.

  • Insurance is strongly recommended, as we cannot accept responsibility for lost or damaged returns.

How to Initiate a Return

  1. Email us with your name, order number, and details of the product you wish to return.

  2. We will send you the return instructions and return address.

  3. You will receive a delivery note by email, which must be printed and included inside your return package.

  4. Please use the original packaging where possible to return the product(s).

Refunds

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method (the credit card used for the original transaction).

  • Refunds will be issued within a maximum of thirty (30) days from receipt of the returned product, provided all return conditions are met.

Responsibility for Return Risk

Please note:

  • Any risk associated with the return shipment remains with you, the customer.

  • If the return procedure or deadlines are not followed, you will not be able to claim non-conformity or defect.
    In such cases, the products will be considered compliant and free from any defects.
